‘Disco Tool’ marks a real progression in sound. Maintaining incredible melody throughout with that signature synth sound, but yet adding some disco-influenced bounce along the way. In that vein, Maur have picked out 10 of their favourite melodic club bangers that hit you in the feels.

“Seamless progression throughout the track, reminds us of finding that small stage at a festival and staying there for hours. A modern classic.”

“Just an incredible piece of music. Makes you feel like you can climb Everest.”

“Could it be the ultimate sunrise track? Its been on the usb for about 3 years now, awaiting its call up.”

“A great festival track. The looping vocals, the strings, the build.”

“Can’t do a list of emotional club tracks and not mention this. A great closer to any set.”

“Reminds us of SGP and early Lost Village festival, the kind of cooler indie dance vibe that heavily influenced our early DJing. Happiness in a synth sound.”

“A classic emotional dance floor hit. Can drop this anywhere in the world and it’ll go off.”

“Its emotional and timeless. Proper goosebumps tune for us both.”

“When we first started playing, we struggled to find music that matched our own style. This was a record that was with us for many of those early sets! Start a lot of sets with this.”

“A more underground selection but such a journey of a track. The raw emotion in the production and vocal sample.. unreal.”
