Turning up the heat for this next release, London based producer RETNA returns to the label with none other than Toolroom’s head honcho Mark Knight as the pair deliver ‘What I Need’, a debut collab that’ll carve up dance floors worldwide in 2022 for sure.
Having made his debut back in 2020, as part of our ‘Toolroom Miami’ album series, RETNA himself, is the London based DJ and producer fast making a name for himself in the scene. Catching the attention of Mark Knight and Saved Records owner Nic Fanciulli through his tight productions, especially on their 2021 collab – ‘This Is Life’ which smashed dance floors worldwide, RETNA’s signature sound that the buzzing producer is fast becoming known for.
‘What I Need’ takes this to the next level, focusing on a raw, arpeggiated synth line that cuts through the records tough, chunky bass line and groove.
