Born in Germany but raised in the sunny town of Sitges, Spain, Tini Gessler has become a formidable name in the global house music community. A natural passion for electronic music propelled her into the art of DJing in 2013, initially performing at small local parties. Gessler’s undeniable talent quickly captured attention, leading to a 3-year residency at the famed Pacha Barcelona.
Gessler’s unique blend of deep and tech-house sets combined with her commanding presence behind the decks caught the eye of Elrow, a renowned electronic music party organization. In 2017, she joined Elrow’s family as a resident DJ for their underground label KER, playing alongside international artists such as Jamie Jones, Paco Osuna, and Joseph Capriati. Her relationship with Elrow paved the way for performances at iconic clubs such as Club Space and Pacha Ibiza, as well as the renowned Rioma Club in Mexico DF where she shared the stage with Marc Houle.
The breakout year for Gessler was 2019 when she established herself on a worldwide platform, from London’s Studio 338 to clubs like Amnesia, Ushuaïa, and Hï in Ibiza. Gessler graced the stages of some of the world’s most respected festivals, including Tomorrowland and Budapest’s Sziget. In the summer of 2023, she is scheduled to make her debut at Tomorrowland amongst many other major festivals.
Gessler began exploring music production, with her first EP Going On, a collaboration with Toni Varga. Her projects include an EP with Tolstoi and Andsan on Safe Music and a much-anticipated solo EP on the underground label, 303 Lovers and KER. Her unique sound combines house and techno with melodic elements, reflecting releases on labels including Desert Hearts, Kittball, Kaluki, Drumcode, Toolroom, Sola, and Circus Recordings.
Drawing inspiration for her tracks from her life experiences and a deep passion for nature, Gessler’s music often encapsulates elements from her worldly travels, most notably, a transformative trip to Africa. As her international performances continue, this global exposure permeates her artistry, enriching her sound and influence on the global house music scene.
