Romanian house duo Sllash & Doppe return to Toolroom with a very special record to soundtrack the tail-end of Summer 2024. These guys shot to fame with the massive tribal club anthem ‘Aguella’ back in 2018 that saw the likes of Claptone, HUGEL and Fatboy Slim hammering it in their sets.
Fast forward to present day and the lads are back with another future tribal anthem with a very familiar riff; Made famous by the Michael Cleis version, but originally written by Toto La Momposina, this entire composition of flutes, vocals, drums and percussion have all been totally rewritten and recreated in a tiny Colombian village which gives the record a brand new, raw, live element that sounds incredible!
Sllash & Doppe bring this right up to date and it drops just in time for those Ibiza closing parties!
